Is It Not nifty?

     Sluggy Freelance
Available online at http://www.sluggy.com
A cute little mini-lop bunny - that carries a switchblade, a Glock, and a fanatical devotion to Baywatch. A secretary - that is actually a people-devouring alien. Halloween parties - that include an annual attempt to drag the erstwhile hero to the demon-infested Dimension of Pain. A vampire with some of the worst pick-up lines known to the living or the undead. Adorable little kittens - that are the bloodthirsty spawn of Satan.
Yes, it's as weird as it sounds - but it's also riotously funny. Now I'm sure this is one of those things that can be filed in the "Everyone With an Internet Connection Already Knew About This" category, but for those who don't know, well, take a look at what you've been missing. Drawn and authored by Pete Abrams, Sluggy Freelance's oddball crew has been gracing the Web on a daily basis since 1997. The core trio - web designer and chief doofus Torg; inventor and commitment-phobic Riff; and long suffering college student Zoe - zoom from the concerns of normal life to living through parodies of everything from The Matrix to Army of Darkness. Abrams is laugh-out loud funny, and it's amazing that the strip hasn't been picked up by a major syndicate yet. A rabid fan base maintains an active "Sluggite Zone," which offers character statistics such as kills and appearances, among other things.
Every single strip is viewable for free at the site, and most are collected in book form available at both Amazon.com and Plan Nine Books, linked at the site. An ad-free version is available for a very reasonable price and donations are accepted. If you get as hooked as I have you'll fork the money over happily. Start at the very beginning if you want to have the slightest clue of what's going on and, whatever you do, don't annoy Bun-bun.   §
